Join us in welcoming author Allison Blanchard and her newly released novel Heir of Grief
Summary: After her grandmother’s sudden death, Mari Pollard is pulled into New York City’s glittering elite—and a hidden world of blood magic tied to her own lineage. As her dangerous power awakens, she’s thrust into a secret war between the Bloodwrights and the Stonebound, with only the enigmatic (and untrustworthy) Alaric Gaines to guide her. Amid grief, dark academia intrigue, and a slow-burning connection that could ruin her, Mari must learn one truth: in a world where loss fuels magic, power isn’t the greatest danger.

APRIL BOOKCLUB
In the near future, a civil servant takes a dream job with a secretive government ministry experimenting with time travel—by bringing “expats” from history into the present. Assigned as a “bridge,” she must live with and monitor Commander Graham Gore, a Victorian naval officer presumed dead in 1845, now bewildered by modern life.
What begins as an awkward assignment deepens into an unexpected romance—until the true purpose of the project comes to light. As love, history, and consequence collide, she must decide whether changing the future is worth rewriting the past.
